Starmus-festivalen arrangeres i Trondheim i uke 25 med. Tirsdag 20. juni er NTNU vertskap for et tematisk seminar om forskning og utdanning innen cyber- og informasjonssikkerhet på Gløshaugen. Programmet starter kl. 09.00 og inngang er helt gratis. Fra SINTEF deltar forskningsleder Marie Moe med innlegg om forskning på sikkerhet i medisinsk utstyr. I tillegg deltar Erlend Andreas Gjære i en paneldebatt om gamification i samband med informasjonssikkerhetsopplæring.
Digitalization contributes with an estimated annual growth of 24 billion Norwegian Kroner to the Norwegian Society. On the other hand the implied cost in terms of cyber and information security incidents is estimated to 20 billion Norwegian Kroner. The situation is descriptive for most western countries, and an increased focus on research and education has been given a key role in many national cyber and information security strategies. The Cyber and Information Security Day will highlight current research and development trends and debate a possible way forward for education.
